A title, a default URL, and the short link is generated. That fallback URL is mandatory: it applies whenever no rule matches, so a scan never lands nowhere.

Frequently asked questions
- What if I change my mind after printing?
- Nothing to reprint. The QR code encodes a permanent short link; only its destinations change, from your dashboard, with immediate effect.
- What if none of my rules match?
- The default URL applies. It is required at creation precisely so that a scan never lands on an error.
- How is the country detected?
- From the visitor’s IP address, resolved on our own server, with no third-party call. The IP is then hashed before being stored: it only serves to tell a returning visitor from a new one.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- The subscription starts at the end of the trial, at the price of the plan you picked. Stripe warns you before the first charge, and cancelling takes one click.
- And if I stop paying?
- Your QR codes stop redirecting and show a holding page; your data is kept. Subscribing again switches the same links back on, to the same destinations, with nothing to reprint.
- I have no website. Does it still work?
- Yes — and it is one of the most common uses. Build a link page (your channel, your socials, your music, your number) and point your QR code at it. It is included in every plan, and you see which link gets clicked.
- Can I use my own domain name?
- Yes, from the Pro plan onwards. Attach your domain, point it at us, and your short links carry your name.
